Romance awaits...

ABOUT

ABOUT US

Situated in Conondale, around 13 kilometres North-West of the Maleny Township, Down at The Dale is a private, luxury-farm escape for couples. Originally named Carranagin, from the Indigenous meaning place of many springs, the 82 acre working cattle farm has been owned by Veronica and Colin since 2015.

Perched at the front of their property on Maleny-Kenilworth Road, the cabins are a short 15 minute drive into Maleny, and look out over the Conondale ranges towards the historic town of Kenilworth. Serene sunsets, starlit skies and a warm, outdoor fire for toasting marshmallows and cosy nights, make this scenic romantic getaway the perfect country escape.

Around 100 beef cattle roam the estate alongside pigs, sheep, lambs, chooks and a couple of cheeky Kelpie dogs (who have no idea how to do their

herding job). You may also occasionally see some wild deer roaming through the back hills. For many years the farm was a thriving carnation farm, and there are still large greenhouses where Veronica and Colin now produce organically grown garlic.
